Songgram ("we", "us") turns a short text message into an AI-generated song where your words become the lyrics. We built Songgram to be private by design: you do not need an account, and we collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• The message you type and the style you pick — these are sent to our AI music provider to generate your song.
• A random device identifier generated on your device — used only to track your free song and show your song history. It is not linked to your name, email, or real-world identity.
• The songs you create (generated audio and cover art) — stored so you can play and revisit them.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active Pro subscription, provided by Apple and our subscription processor.
• Basic technical data — such as app version and error logs, used to keep the app working.

What we do not collect

We do not require an account. We do not collect your name, email (unless you choose to email support), phone number, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers. We do not sell your data, and we do not show third-party ads.

How we use your information

To generate and store your songs, count your free song, manage your subscription, respond to support requests, and maintain and improve the app.

Service providers

We share the minimum data needed with trusted providers that process it on our behalf:

• AI music generation (Poyo.ai / Suno) — receives your message text and style to create the song.
• Cloudflare — hosting, database, and file storage.
• Apple & RevenueCat — process and verify subscription purchases.

Data retention and deletion

Your songs and device identifier are kept until you ask us to delete them. To request deletion of your data, email support@songgram.app and we will remove it.

Children

Songgram is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Security

We use reputable infrastructure and reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
